Bellbrae Clay is the ceramic studio founded by Australian multidisciplinary artist Lauren Barton.
Bold graphics, patterns, and textured ceramic pieces of Bellbrae Clay are the result of founder, Lauren Barton's creative experiments. Her hand-built and painted collection reflect her passion for colour as well as textured inspired from her surroundings. Lauren has also been working on artworks to accompany her larger sculptural works for this years Surf Coast Arts Trail.

Hand Building with Clay
During the Surf Coast Arts Trail, Bellbrae Clay is open for walk in Hand-Building sessions! Participants can choose between painting pre-made ceramics or hand-build a clay creation at their own pace. Basic instruction sheets will be available, allowing you to guide yourself through the hand-building process. Clay is sold by weight, with artist and owner Lauren Barton, on hand to assist in selecting the right type and amount of clay for your intended masterpiece!
