The Surf Coast Arts Trail aims to be welcoming, inclusive and easy for everyone to enjoy.

The Trail takes place across more than 65 artist studios, galleries and creative spaces. Each venue is different, so access may vary. Use the accessibility information for each venue to help plan your visit.

 

Accessibility legend

Use the legend below to understand the access features available at each venue.

  • Accessible
    The venue offers step-free access and can be used by most people using a wheelchair, walking frame or mobility aid.
  • Partially accessible
    The venue has some accessibility features but may include steps, uneven ground, narrow doorways or other barriers.
  • Accessible toilets
    An accessible toilet is available at the venue.
  • Accessible toilets nearby
    An accessible public toilet is located close to the venue.
  • Accessible parking
    Accessible parking is available at or close to the venue.

Changing Places

Changing Places facilities are larger, fully accessible bathrooms for people with high support needs and their carers.

Changing Places facilities are available in Anglesea, Torquay and Winchelsea.

Assistance dogs

Assistance dogs are welcome at all Surf Coast Arts Trail venues. Visitors may be asked to show evidence that their dog is a trained assistance animal. Please do not pat or distract a working assistance dog without the handler’s permission.
