The WeaverBirds are basketmaking and Fibre Artists - a collective of creative artists connected by a shared love of weaving, nature & community. Working with foraged & recycled materials, natural & plant fibres, copper wire, rope, threads & wool, their practice is grounded in traditional basketry techniques such as twinning, string making & free form weaving. Through these methods, they create works that are as individual & expressive as the hands that make them.
