James Irwin is a landscaper with over two decades of experience in high-end landscape design and construction. He studied horticulture at Burnley and also has a Diploma in Visual Arts. As the owner and operator of Irwin Landscapes, James has built a reputation for creating thoughtful, enduring outdoor spaces that unite natural form, structure, and material.
Alongside his landscape practice, James pursues a parallel creative path in sculpture , working primarily in mild steel and stone. Through the process of welding and shaping steel and stone, James explores the tension between stillness and movement, each piece inviting the viewer to finish the motion in their own minds. His works have been exhibited twice at Mudgee Sculptures in the Garden.
