Martine Oderio's practice is grounded in a love of playing with materials and sharing the joy of art-making with others. While ceramics currently sit at the heart of her work, she moves fluidly between sculpture, printmaking, drawing and painting to record and interpret nature and lived experiences. Deeply influenced by her coastal surroundings, Martine's unruly kelp lamps illuminate her studio filled with studies of marine life, sculptures of local trees, and explorations of form and balance. Guided by curiosity and the pursuit of intrinsic design, her work explores connections around place, community, and coast.

Tammie Rogers is an emerging ceramic artist. Her latest works explore the quiet tension between fragility and resilience. Working primarily with hand-formed vessels, she embraces organic, spherical forms that feel both grounded and contemplative, drawing on a minimalist aesthetic contrast, her pieces try to balance restraint with emotional depth.

At Beebops Art School, we welcome students from 5 years of age to come and explore various mediums such as clay, painting, mixed media and textile art. Art classes run during the school term as well as over the school holidays

With Dutch heritage and a deep affection for blue and white, Cat’s work blends folklore, flora, and a touch of mischief. Her pieces reflect a love of plants and flowers, memories of growing up in New Zealand, as well as the small joys in everyday life.
