Ceramist Jess Rodgers and Oil and Watercolour Painter Jane Pittard will be returning to exhibit their beautiful pieces inside the Bookstore setting as part of the Trail — blending literature and art and community to create a warm and engaging space to engage with on the Arts Trail. Art demonstrations on both days, complimentary champagne and 10% off everything in-store all weekend during the Trail.

Jane Pittard
Jane Pittard is an Australian based watercolour artist. Jane’s love of rural life and horses together with living on the Surf Coast are the sources of her inspiration.
Jess Rodgers
Jess Rodgers is a ceramic artist who predominantly throws on the wheel, creating both functional and decorative pottery with stoneware clay. She draws inspiration from the natural beauty of Wadawurrung land, including local native plants, the ocean, and the treasures found in rock pools. The colours and textures of the landscape influence her glaze choices, as well as the shapes and textures of her art forms. Her pieces also feature a unique whimsical flair, incorporating bright colours alongside the natural tones. Jess especially enjoys the therapeutic (and sometimes messy) process of creating on the wheel. Working with clay grounds her, helps her slow down, and fills her with excitement every time she opens the kiln.
