Pattie Beerens has a studio in Point Roadnight, Anglesea and her practice germinates from her sense of the local environment embracing and nourishing her spiritually, physically and cognitively.
In her practice Pattie weaves enchanted ephemeral scapes with textiles and clay into non-traditional art spaces. Her aim is to explore material thinking as an ethos toward a more sustainable and harmonious relationship with our environment. She draws on the alchemy of the materials to manifest into immersive mattering environments of living, sensing and relating as part of nature for viewers to experience.
