Melinda specialises in working with fragile, translucent porcelain. She creates sculptural lamps, translucent vessels and wheel thrown domestic wear.
Melinda is part of the Solly/Giles family studio, in collaboration with her husband Matthew Solly, mother Jill Giles, father Geoff Giles. The family enjoy creating together and have been exhibiting in the Surf Coast Arts Trail since it’s inception.
