Sarah McLeod More

Sarah More had a long career as an architectural and gravestone carver in the UK, where she exhibited and taught lettering design and stone carving. She now lives at Aireys Inlet, where she pursues her lifelong interest in painting.

Sarah draws or paints directly from the environment or from found objects, as a starting point for developing work further in the studio. She is interested in the narrative or abstract possibilities of shapes and forms that emerge in the process. She works in both in oils and acrylics.
