Roger Brown is a self taught wood carver, starting as a young lad with his first pocketknife making propellers. Now in his 87th year he has an extensive collection of carvings for you to see but his passion now is to encourage the younger generations to take up this craft as a hoby an experience the joy of creating something beautiful. So if you visit you will have the opportunity to sit down and have a go at whittling a simple item to take home with you.

Whittling Workshop
All visitors are offered the opportunity to sit down and have a go at whittling a simple item. Basic instruction is given by experienced carvers. Children must be supervised by a parent. Overcrowding can occur at times.
